end of season
« on: September 12, 2017, 07:00:01 AM »

Sucks, my season ended before it started.  I have bulls scouted, gear packed, bike tuned, am fit... Ruptured Achillies will end a season of hunting and fishing fast. Best of luck and better hunting

Yikes, can't imagine the pain involved in that. Hope you heal up quick and get plenty of PT.

Funny thing pain isn't bad at all, I am coming off 8mo of knee rehab for MCL/PCL and Micro fracture and discomfort is not even close.  Honestly a 2-3 on a 1 to 10 right now anyway.  I had the films and met with the Orthopod yesterday and should find out today or tomorrow AM if surgery is required due to the location which is thankfully at the junction of the calf muscle.  Recovery time is said to be the same but all the same I would rather not get cut.

The odd thing is how it occured so maybe a little PSA with this.  I had some tightness before a rugby fitness run, I had stretched etc.  I shifted my weight between legs and she popped, learn to listen to the body.
