Ugly deer

This deer should shave his butt and walk backwards.
I'm not sure.

She's just long-facing the camera.....makes her head/face look bigger/longer.
How come your cam pic is purple?

I'm looking at that weird patch of hair on the forehead and black swollen nose. I have lots of other pics of deer that look much nicer. She just looks flat out ugly compare to most I get. :dunno:
I don't know. maybe my standards are too high for does. :chuckle:

The picture is purple because I took the IR blocking filter out and use an  filter over the flash.
I'm not sure.

I think she looks like wonderful, delicious steaks and roasts. She's absolutely gorgeous.

If you watch deer closely they will sometimes scratch their foreheads with their rear legs, exactly like a dog will scratch the fleas behind their ears.  For deer that do this they will develop strange patches right between the eyes.

Swollen marks between the eyes are not that uncommon.

To all you guys who think that's an ugly deer.
Pound a half rack with a couple shots and revisit the site at 12:00 AM.
She'll look a lot better then.

Remember this,
Beauty's a light switch away.

As for the invite on the Loincloth hunt,
I think I'm busy pounding a half case that day.
