I moved to puyallup last year and want to get in the woods. Would anyone near me let me know where my best chances are at seeing any deer? I'm willing to trade some great hunting in pa or florida on some great hog/dear hunts! So, I'm looking for a partner to show me some ropes out here.  8)

What method of hunting do you use? There is some good archery options around your location.

Click the Base map feature on the upper left and choose public land.  Zoom to your area of interest.  Virtually all those areas are open to explore.

I go back to New York to hunt deer with the kids, we occasionally buy Pennsylvania hunting licenses and hunt in Susquahanna and Bradford County for deer. Plenty of deer there compared to this part of the Country. I'll be going back this November to visit family and go deer hunting.

If you want to go north a little ways I can show you a few places to go. I'm in Arlington.

How do you like the deer hunting here compared to Lycoming County?

I've been out here since 1973.  The numbers of deer in PA have increased since I moved here.

My wife has family in Eastern PA and we plan to move to Florida, St Augustine area in 2 years. I'd be interested in talking to you sometime. I hunt more up north of you now, but you are welcome to join me if you want too. Shoot me a PM if you like. I rifle hunt.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

We have a camp near Chesaw. I am a PA hunter, born and raised. We still have a deer camp(35 years) in Center cty of PA in a town called Orviston. Its called the "Hole in the Wall". I fly back to hunt the day after Thanksgiving. The deer are getting bigger with the 3 point rule but we see less. Also, only half the hunters. The youngsters don't care anymore.
