Left over multi season deer tags.

Anyone know when the left over multi season deer tags go on sale?  I know they said a date would be released just making sure I didn't miss it.

it will be a week or 2. they aee how many are left and then they will send out an email of a date that left over tags can be purchased. and they usually say how many are left over in that email. usually elk will go on sale at 10 and deer is an hr or 2 later

I wish I could give mine to my kid.  We will be in line hoping to get her one.

Let me know if I'm correct. Aug 1st applicants who were not drawn can then purchase a ms permit, then after a certain date they go otc to the general public/non applicants?

I thought you had to have submitted for the special permit in order to be eligible to purchase a surplus tag?
Can they not be purchased online?
Thanks for all the info!

you can purchase them online if you have not purchased a deer or elk tag yet. if you have you have to purchase it at a dealer and turn in your specific weapon tag.

and yes you had to apply to buy one

You can't buy one today. Deadline was yesterday to purchase.  Now you have to wait until the surplus ones go on sale and that should be announced later this week.  At that point you will have to go to a dealer to buy one.

This doesn't apply to me but I have always wondered if you put in for points can you buy a leftover tag? Might be a good way to build up points in case more people start wanting the deer tags.
