L&C Wildlife Refuge

Anybody hunt the L&C wildlife refuge on the regular who wants to talk ducks? I'll be living out of Astoria and cant wait to hunt the lower columbia.

Ever hunt/get to your spots out of kayaks or canoes?
Ever flag for ducks?
Up for a challenge for those two subjects?

Scout it and learn it.  It can be very rewarding if you do.  Learn how to utilize the tides to your advantage and the fronts.  Lots of great areas to hunt down at the mouth.
Just don't underestimate the tides, currents and cold water as it can also be a killer.
