Order Mike Eastman's book titled Hunting Trophy Antelope. They can be tricky to judge. Mike's book covers strategies, lots of good pictures and some great storeys.

Here's a buck I took in Wyoming 3 years ago. Saw hundreds of bucks over 5 days and he was the second best I saw all week.

This is nothing huge but a good average Montana buck I killed last year on opening day. Get the meat cold right away and it is the best wild game around imo

Congratulations on your tag- it should be a blast.

Have gone every year to Wyoming for antelope.  Couple suggestions....check out Pronghorn Guide Service facebook page....lots of pictures of top end bucks and tips for judging.  They sell an excellent video that's solid.

You should see a bunch of bucks.  Most are going to be in the 60-70 inch range and you should be able to find one that turns your crank.  They are a lot of fun, an easy intro to hunting in the west and in my opinion, much better eating than deer or elk.  If you clean and cool them quickly, they're awesome eating.

Good luck on your hunt!

Got this one about 1/4 mile south of the Montana/Wyoming line last year.  Scored 75 inches.  Really high and wide, but lacking mass and cutter length.  Hope to do a little better next week.   8)
