Siouxon Muzzy Cow
« on: August 04, 2017, 07:22:31 PM »
I was fortunate enough to be drawn for a multi-season elk tag and one of the Cow Muzzleloader tags for the Siouxon Unit.

I have been up and driven in both sides of the unit, walked a few of the closed logging roads and trails.

My question for those in more know than I is which side do I stand a better chance of connecting with an elk?

I will be up there again tomorrow looking and hiking.  Just wondering in general which side to focus on and thus improve my chance of success.

I have searched this unit on the forum and will use the information found there to help me also.

Thanks for any and all help in advance.

If I'm not wrong, last year the Siouxon had a top 3 success rate (overall) for elk in the state! Good luck!
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming
