Area 7? Anyone fished it recently?

Thinking of going out tomorrow or Sunday, I haven't been hearing anything locally.  The wind seems like it is supposed to be a bit yucky, so I'm wondering if anyone has any info?

Landed 7 fish, 5 pinks and to kings, one shaker and one wild about 14lb (Not "landed").  Lost a big fish first thing to a sea lion and had another 4 or 5 self release. Tough fishing with the chop but not a bad day. Two of the pinks were a touch over 7 pounds with good colored meat.

Nice, good for you!  The wind and chop yesterday were a bit much for my boat, but we had similar results on Thursday. We landed four species up there this week, releasing the (very large x2) coho of course.

OMG, looking at WACouse's post made me check the regs, as of Aug. 1 I could have kept the nice King we released today....     Lesson learned, check the regs more often.

That stinks, I figured you were talking about a giant coho!   Not many clipped kings up that way, so the change over on August 1 makes a big difference. All the kings we caught were unclipped.
