For those of you that develop your own long range rifles for hunting and shooting, what are your thoughts on this target?

Long range I develop loads at 200-300.  Targets look a lil cluttered for me at 300 but I cant see pic that well tho. Need better photo.  Are the big squares one inch ?

It's 30" tall

Small circles are 1"

Large circles are 2"

Designed for a 100 yards

As long as you understand the math behind it, it should work for you.

Circles sound like right size, can't imagine using a 30" target sheet at 100 yards though?  Not critiquing just offering my thoughts .  Like to save targets like paper plate size or 8 1/2 x 11.  Saving 30 inch sheets cumbersome for me but maybe the competitors do that idk ?

I assume there's a bunch more testing for selecting the powder charge before using this target.  I like to test the whole gamut of powder charges to see where the "nodes" are and then final test around them.   I've never played around much with bullet seating depth as I jam them into the lands if I'm shooting BR style and have them just shy of the lands (provided they fit the magazine) if it's hunting rounds.
