In an area close enough to a road/hiway she could have gotten clipped by a vehicle?

Nope, she would have had to travel MILES from here to get hit by a car. Her other side looked a little better, I'm guessing old injury from....bad hunting shot or cat.

With that view and watching the socket when she moves. It looks likes it could be popped out of socket. Critters fall in the wild and etc.

Yeah, looks like a hip out of socket. Apparently they can learn to live with this for many years, as there's been a cow with a similar injury hanging around Oak Creek feeding station for something like 4-5 years now. That cow holds her leg completely up -- no weight on it at all.
