I agree with that. Just don't want to see it get huge and go barreling into town like a unstoppable freight train and usfs standing around wondering what to do now.

I'm kind of in the diversity section and since 3/4 or more of the pasayten was burned recently and 50  percent of the valley is burnt, I'd like to see a few timber left standing.    There some beautiful pine down in that valley.    I'm just glad I had the priviledge to hunt that country before it burned.

Good luck Mountainman,  So far Andrews Creek remains open and all of the country east of there; Steve and Jess would still be able to get you into most of their High Hunt areas.  Brian's area is most affected.  Hopefully the outfitters will be able to find a good spot for his hunters.  The Methow outfitters do what they can to take care of each other.  Good idea to keep an eye on the inci web reports and closures.
