 :yeah:

Legs look a little too long for a fox.

Or is it a deer. I see only 4 legs and no tail. Are we confusing that back leg for the tail?

One fairly clear front leg and what looks like the off-side front leg just ahead of it and two clear back legs and tail, otherwise one of those front legs is mounted about halfway towards his rearend....which would make him walk funny!  :chuckle:

Searched the web and found this photo and remarks.....it could very well be a young coyote though.

"It's a red fox, a "teenager" changing over from it's "puppy coat" to an adult coat, still short for summer. The dark legs and white tail tip are a give-away."

"Red fox, yes, but I'd blame sarcoptic mange for its appearance. Mange is a very common and sad affliction of fox and coyotes."

Also a couple pictures of coyote pups.....notice that the tails are not as long....hmmmm

Looking at those pictures, the tail on that fox sure looks like the one in the game cam pic, lot longer that a yotes.

I revise my assessment from coyote pup to high probability of fox....

Thanks for digging those up!!

No idea for sure, but that is kind of a spooky pic. Am I the only one that sees what appears to be antlers? I do see a possible tail too.....deer or canine, either way something looks weird in the back end of that critter
