Unless you're looking for a repeater, the 7 RUM is an excellent cartridge that will have roughly the same capacity (possibly a bit more) than an improved Norma case. The Norma case would probably match or maybe beat the the RUM if you wanted to shoot it at an OAL of less 3.800".My 7mm RUM was a single shot and throated for the 200gr Wildcat bullets so I loaded them to an OAL of 4.1" and I got some impressive velocities out of it and my Rem brass was good for about 7 firings before I tossed it.

Curious if they are longer than the Berger 195's.
Just measured my last 200 wildcat bullet and it's 1.593"
