Well here is the finished product of a young Oryx Bull. I had to make a form for this certain mount since they dont offer one that would fit

. Anyway, this is the first African (Exotic because it was killed in the US) mount I have had the opportunity to do. It was alot of work to make a form for this bull. I started with a Siberian Ibex form and went from there! Anyway here is the finished product, now I want to do more African stuff!!

Wouldn't have been able to tell that was your first. It turned out very nice.

Welcome to the world of African/exotics. LOL I've mounted dozens of them and I think that maybe 3 or 4 actually fit the mould perfectly. Just not the variety of sizes available like deer and elk.

Again, that turned out real nice.

I dont think I really even get that many non exotics that I dont have to alter the forms on , just not build a form to fit

They need to make yearling bull forms

Nice work. We are doing our first one this Sunday. I hope it turns out as well. Hard to find good reference photos. Did you do any paint touch up in the ears?

Oh ya, definately. I started with a brown and then hayzed black over it till I got the right color.
