I thought I was seeing shadows like that from some trees when I watched the eclypse, but I coudn't really figure out what was going on with it.     I never got around to checking if it's " a thing" but now I  know......   thanks,

Oh man. How did I miss this thread! Texture is my favorite area of photography along with wide angle landscape. The lady bugs and the water droplets photos are awesome guys.

I took this photo a few years ago on a rainy day experimenting in my garage. The intention of this photo was to try and capture texture with what I had laying around the house. I have a few other subject matters but this one turned out the best.

A simple straw hat on a mule deer hide.
