replacing felt on QAD fall-away rest
« on: August 03, 2017, 04:07:00 PM »
Hello archery gear-heads of Hunt-WA-

The soft felt on the QAD fall-away arrow rest on my bow has worn down.  I have found the online replacement felt kits, but I am wondering if my point of impact will change much when I put the new felt on the arrow rest arm that holds the arrow?

Thank you.  Good luck to all of you with your pres-season preparations.

I had to replace the felt on my rest (same as yours). Didn't effect anything for me. Never know tho, you should shoot Before hunting with it.

Just FYI.  This was a few weeks ago now, but just for those interested:  replacing the very worn old felt with new felt did not change the point of impact or arrow trajectory at all, just like doublelunger and scottfrick had predicted.  Good to know for the future!

Best of luck to all you bowhunters in a week or two!
