Tikka (and sister company Sako) are great quality rifles with very good accuracy. Large volume manufacturing at reasonable pricing, generally results in higher quantity of sales....and thus re-sales (there are just more out there).Plus, most Tikkas I see for sale are the powerful calibers. 300WSM, 300WM, 338WM, etc. Perhaps people have decided they want a heavier gun for such calibers. I see fewer smaller caliber Tikka for sale on most websites in comparison.
I have a Tikka 270 wsm and it is the most accurate rifle I own. It is my go-to rifle but the stock feels kinda cheapo, but the gun is also very light to carry.
Tag, getting the popcorn out in anticipation.
Whackmaster, Jackall asked some pretty relevant questions about your rifle that remain unanswered (round count, accuracy, rings) jsyk. I imagine there are others like me who would want to know this before committing to anything.
I suspect that most Tikka owners trying to sell are just looking to upgrade to a Savage.
