Why so many Tikka rifle's for sale

Tikka (and sister company Sako) are great quality rifles with very good accuracy.  Large volume manufacturing at reasonable pricing, generally results in higher quantity of sales....and thus re-sales (there are just more out there).

Plus, most Tikkas I see for sale are the powerful calibers.  300WSM, 300WM, 338WM, etc.   Perhaps people have decided they want a heavier gun for such calibers.  I see fewer smaller caliber Tikka for sale on most websites in comparison.

I think this holds true for a lot of heavy calibers.  There seem to be a lot of mags for sale in many models.  I think a lot of guys bought magnums and realized that they can't shoot them comfortably, so up for sale they go.

I have a 25-06 Tikka and with it being so lightweight, it will belt you with a hot load.  However, I love the firearm and I've never had a problem with flinching or heavy recoil.  I put a Limbsaver pad on it and it made a world of difference.  It's a great, affordable firearm, very accurate, and lightweight.  I have a bunch of Remington 700s, but the Tikka goes with me deer hunting most of the time.  I'd not hesitate to buy another.  Just go with a 7mm-08 or 308 for a short action with plenty of punch.

I have a Tikka 270 wsm and it is the most accurate rifle I own. It is my go-to rifle but the stock feels kinda cheapo, but the gun is also very light to carry.

I have 2 T-3 lites ones a .270 WSM and the other is a .300 WSM both are deadly accurate and have NEVER failed even the the worst weather! The one thing that does suck on them is the stock with that being said a B/C medalist stock makes these rifles perfect

Whackmaster, Jackall asked some pretty relevant questions about your rifle that remain unanswered (round count, accuracy, rings) jsyk. I imagine there are others like me who would want to know this before committing to anything.

Sound's like questions I should of asked before buying it didn't know they where round sensitive so I'm the "that guy"

Lots of people read the reviews and buy Tikka's.  After talking to buddies, reading write-ups etc., end up with a larger caliber.  I know the light rifles in a large caliber can kick like a mule.  Unless you invest in a few after market options, they can be no fun for some people to shoot.  I know this is a reason some get rid of them.

I have 5 of them and love them.  .223, .22-250, .7mm-08, .270, .7mm.  The only one that isn't to fun to shoot is the .7mm.

My go to the last couple years is a Tikka t3 300wsm. Does it kick? Yeah a little  but I've beat the snot out of it and it never fails to shoot a great group with the cheapest ammo you can throw in it. I wouldn't be afraid of owning another. For the price, reliability, and how easy they are to find, it seems they are hard to beat.

I suspect that most Tikka owners trying to sell are just looking to upgrade to a Savage.   

On a more serious note, the guys I know that have them have never complained.

I bought a Tikka 25-06 last year and I just love it, I hear a lot of people complain about the stocks but I never worry about scratching or dinging mine up, stainless synthetic for the wet side and I'm good to go.
