Look at QuietKat, they make several models for hunting. I just bought a mt bike from them. An interesting machine.

I'll be in the market as soon as my ACL heals up. Are there any good forums that a guy can get good info on? I'm looking at bikes for hunting and pulling a trailer with camp gear.

Nick and Carolyn at Bike Spot in Anacortes would be a good resource for you.  Get the best bike you can afford it really is worth it.  In the off season find some trails and ride as much as you can, it is a blast.  Good luck

Be advised most industrial timberland's do not allow electric bikes.  A motor is a motor!

Your local bike shop is a great place to get info- just like a local sporting goods store those are people who live their hobby.

As far as online sources of info, I have been a member of bikeforums.com for over 10 years and is a wealth of information. For your needs, I would take a look at the touring section. Careful on there though...imagine hunt-wa but instead full of cyclists.  :chuckle:

I'm also a few years behind the curve on tech, but I worked a couple years in a bike shop and would be happy to offer any info if you have specific questions.
