How did the derby go?  I'll be down for a few days this week, any tips or trends?

Derby was nothing to write home about. My brother in law won it with pretty small fish. Lots of fish caught, just no biggins.

My brother and I went to the Willipa for a few hours yesterday.  The fishing is slow, so there aren't many boat which was nice.  Just before high tide my brother hooked about an 18 wild buck we had to let go.

An hour and a half later I hooked this 22 lb hatchery hen!

We only saw a handful of other fish caught, but there were only about 30 boats spread from Washaway Beach to the green river marker 19.

Hunt hard and shoot straight!
