BC Moose Hunt
« on: August 29, 2017, 10:48:46 PM »
Leaving Sept 18 to hunt moose in British Columbia.  I was taking a walk August 27 and sprained my ankle severely.  Doc today said no weight on ankle until next Monday.  Start PT that week and the next week.  The swelling has gone down but no all the way.  I am determined to not let this little issue ruin my hunt.  I am extremely motivated to do what is needed to heal as much as possible before my hunt.  I will post pics with my moose when I am successful.  Staying positive.

That's horrible! Sounds like you will get it in reasonable shape before you leave.  Best of luck on the hunt and the ankle

Nice. Did you have to quarter him right there.

Nice! That isn't a terrible spot to shoot one. I killed my first moose in about that much water, it keeps the job nice and clean.

We were able to drag him up on the bank with the ATV and deal with him on dry land.   :)

Awesome bull, man. You'll have lots of fond memories while eating that fantastic meat!
