Went out sat again and heard some elk in the timber, let out 2 cow calls and a bull fired off. Can only keep getting better   :tup:

Thanks guys. I'd normally be out checking for myself but my wife and I just welcomed our son into the world. It looks like we're gonna have some clear weather for archery season for once!

Congratulations on your son's arrival! Hope wife and son are both doing well.

Thank you. Sons doing great and his mom was already back hunting deer this last weekend. She says she most looking forward to looking for shed antlers with him in tow. Thanks for all the replies.

Been bugling near my house for the past week.  Cows are mewing also to let the bulls know where they are at and they are interested.
