With one day to go,  made a 1 mile stalk on this cow.   Quite the tracking job in devils club and blackberry laced 25 yr old reprod.  Glad to have some good eats.

nice cow.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Scotta, that's a very nice bull! Would love to hear the story behind it.

Scotta, that's a very nice bull! Would love to hear the story behind it.
After hunting hard and feeling the pressure of all the regular season hunters moving in my hunting partner and I were fortunate to find this bull crossing the road at daylight then cross back 30 after daylight at the same spot on Thursday . Friday morning we decided to drop me off and walk up the road at the spot and wait , partner drove past me and 3 min later the bull sneaks down the hill and I dropped him 50 yards from the road . Approx 10 min after daylight shortest day hunting ever . First bull !
