Webinar on Bobcat population study

WSTA is cooperating on this study that Dr. Tim Hiller is starting. You can look at his presentation here Not a valid vimeo URLIt is about an hour long.

So why is it important?
If any of you have followed the goings on in California you will know they closed all trapping of bobcats in that State last year. Of course it was a push from animal rights groups but CA did not have a defensible bobcat management plan and their population estimates were way out of date.
With this study we should have data showing a healthy bobcat population and be able to refute the animal rights people if they try and stop bobcat harvest here.
