It's not a huge deal over here. This state burns and that's just the way it is. I've been in the smoke the last few weekends. Animals are all still doing there thing. There just as used to fires here as the rest of us.

I'm waiting to buy my elk tag to make sure I'll have access to the area I want to hunt. So far it hasn't burnt where I plan on going but there is fire near by.

Ya I know. We got dropped in the Church a few years ago during fire season. Took em 2 days to get us in and 2 to get us out. We where hunting next to smoldering trees. I'm just worried about the Nov season. No browse means no animals. Crossing our fingers. Our current planned access point is closed right now, glad we decided against the Sept season.

headed over to Central ID wednesday...... was a lil smoky two weeks ago, but fire just helps concentrate em just like the dry heat does.  Don't think it will burn all the areas I can hunt - most already burned last couple years anyway.

Seems like the storms hit in the same place over and over again this year. Everyone down south are still picking up fires. Not much rain coming this weekend, but next week looks a little wet.
