Thanks PNW.  I entered him into a contest last night, we'll have to see how he does.  I think the banquet is in April, so I should have the mount done by then.  He is drying up nice.  I'll do a few more small adjustments on his eyes tonight.  I need to get him inside where he can dry a little faster.  I think he is going to replace my big whitetail on the wall.  I need to get him re-mounted anyway.

YAHOOO!  The story hasn't stopped yet.  I just got the call from the WSB.  I WON the Glenn St Charles Award.  This is my second time.  HOT DIGGITY.  I am so excited.  I guess I better get my butt in gear and get this mount finished.   HOLY MOLY.  I guess this means I will be at the banquet.  If you have nothing else better to do on a Saturday night on April 12th, stop by and take a gander.

Congratualtions Bone, that is very exciting, expecially to win it twice.  I wonder how many guys in the state have won it more than once, probably not many.  I may have to try and make it down to the Banquet.  Way to go!

CONGATULATIONS PARDNER!  That was one tough hunt, and you did it solo with a trad bow. I'm sure I couldn't have pulled that off at 1/2 my age.  YOU EARNED IT.

Thanks guys.  It will be fun to meet any of you there that do make it.  Yeah I warned you Ernie.  i knew he might be in the running.  There was a big elk he was up against and I wasn't sure if he could beat it.

The first banquet I went to and I won it with my moose.  It was one of the most special nights of my life.  Everything just fell into place and It was awesome.  I got to sit and eat with Lance and my gorgeous wife, and got to meet all sorts of folks.  i have no idea how many times I got to tell mymose story and you guys know I like to tell a story.   I came home wiht a cool auction item and a cool raffle item plus the award.  I also got to meet with and chat with Glenn himself for a short bit.  That was an honor.  There are alot of outstanding men and woman at this banquet that are fighting for our hunting rights.  They all come together for this banquet and throw  heck of a good time.  I almost bid on a South African trip.  I haven't seen what is being auctioned this year.
The year I won it was aobu he last year for the travelling trophy.  You get to keep it for a year then return it and they give you a smaller one for you to keep.  I have no idea what it will look like this time.  I believe Rory won it three times.  Talk about a hunting machine. As far as I know no one else has repeated.   Another one of our members on here has won it as well.  I'm definatley with good company.

Rory shoots Trad bow now too doesn't he?
