Its the inside spread, up to the length of the longest mainbeam. (I think its the longest one) so....   if you have a 20 inch inside spread but only an 18 inch main beam, you get 18.  If you have 20 inch inside and a 21 inch mainbeam, you get the 20.

I'm trying to decide if I want to go back here this week.  I'd have to pack in one day, hunt one day and pack out one day, and miss my daughters soccer games.   I could call it a season and save my PTO.  I might even be able to coax the Mrs into going during the modern.     I wonder if the big one is still there?  I've tried two other haunts and haven't found what I am after..............Crap  decisions desicions.......

It is eating on me.   I'm kinda disturbed that I couldn't see anything of the quality I am used to in the other two spots.

I probalby shouldn't look at the forcast.  That might discourage me. LOL   I'm two for two for wet adventures, but that generally won't stop me.  I hate the fog though.  Clarify, I don't mind hunting in the fog, but it sucks for viewing those basins and stalking.

I know it's a hump to get in there, and a pain to miss the soccer games, but think about it; most of the guys on this site (myself included), and most of the serious mule deer hunters in this state would kill just to know about that spot.  You put a lot of time and effort into just finding it.  You earned it.  Go hunt it.
Good luck.

Whats more important to you? Going hunting or watching your daughters soccer game? I can tell you that my dad never missed one of my high school wrestling matches. He even quit his job so he would be able to watch me wrestle my last matches in the Tacoma Dome.  I am glad that he was at every one of my matches.  Nothing better then looking to the top of the bleachers before a tough match and seeing my dad give me the fist pump meaning "Lets go....Leave it all on the mat."

You'll be able to hunt when she has grown up and moved on, but you won't be able to go back and watch her play soccer.
