Oil filter bargain for Toyota folks
« on: September 15, 2017, 11:33:25 AM »
Amazon has cases (12 count) of Napa Gold 1348 oil filters for under $40 and free shipping. These fit a lot, maybe most Toyotas. I know they fit the 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.4, 4.0, and more.

It's less than half the usual price and they're quality filters.

and they also fit lots of small engines like riding mowers
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Try a Napa 1516 for more media and larger housing.
I've been running them for around 80k.
Those shot glasses that Toyota specs are ridiculous.

I use the bigger Napa Gold 1516 on my 2013 Tacoma, too.  Not sure that it makes much difference but I like the idea of using a larger capacity oil filter versus a smaller one.
