Pit Boss 820 por smoker / grill - any experience?
« on: September 28, 2019, 09:52:10 PM »
Lowes is having a sale on Pit Boss smoker. It looks good and has digital drive, probe, porcelain grate etc. Anyone have one of these? Any good? At $499 - 10% veteran discount that seems a decent price to get into a pellet grill.

My brother has the same grill your looking at, he even bought it from Lowes. He bought it to replace his original Traeger that finally went tits up. From what he has told me he has been very happy with it.

I have the model that's a size smaller than that.  Solid grill/smoker.  Bought off amazon, same price as walmart and free shipping.  I've done chickens, turkey, salmon, steaks, pork shoulder, chops, etc.

a bunch of us at worked pitched in and bought a Austin XL from Walmart a month or 2 ago. so far its been a fantastic grill. the build quality is higher then I anticipated, and has not had any issues yet.
we paid 460$ on sale through Walmart for it, wish I would have went back and bought myself one while they were on sale now.
