lost my pistol while hunting elk in the Nile unit about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile in off the 1600 road .went back last weekend but no luck finding it.would like to have it back .this happened sept 9 2017.     :'(http://hunting-washington.com/smf/Smileys/default/cry.gif

You might try a call to the local authorities to see if it got turned in. If you haven't all ready.

I'm sorry this happened to you. But I have to ask, what type of holster were you using? Where was this holster located? Did it fall out and fall down a cliff or hill? Losing a pistol or any other firearm is a pretty egregious thing to do.

I had it in a holster with a retention strap and the holster was on the belt for my pack .some how when i took the pack off in the dark it fell out and i don,t know when the retention strap for the holster came off but that is the only time i can think of it coming out . i was in a old clear cut with lots of brush and not on any game trail.i know it was on my side when i left camp and started up the hill because i had to adjust it because it was digging into my side witch is when possibly the retention strap came off.
