Congrats. Eats better than tag soup and will alway be a great memory of hunting solo.

Totally agree with mkcj, any elk is a trophy! And getting it done solo is special! Congrats on a great bull
:yeah: My husband drew that tag last year. It's not a cakewalk of a unit if you don't know it well. We lucked out big time getting the bull the husband ended up getting. Most hunters wouldn't ever get a chance at a bull elk like your elk Monster, I would be proud. Congrats

Congrats! As long as you had a good time that's all that matters. In the end it's your tag! You pulled the trigger your choice! Who gives a *censored* what others think!

Nice bull, the trophy is in the eye of the beholder. There aren't 400" bulls behind every tree even though some may flame you because the potential was there for a bigger set of antlers. You got a couple hundred pounds of meat and a bull at home, which is better that 95% of the other hunters that will have tag soup this year. Congrats on your trophy and a successful hunt.

Nice bull. I bet it eats way better than my colockum any bull archery tag that I still have in my wallet.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
