Anyone hunt with small diameter arrows?

Anyone hunt with small diameter arrows?  What's your opinion?  Have you had issues with your quiver?
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Yeah don't buy the gold tip platinums.  The arrow cannot take the abuse when it hits bone.  Had the arrow break in half on impact twice.  I'll sell mine to you?  Lol

I shoot the Easton Axis 340's. So far pretty pleased with them. I haven't had much issue with my quiver and the skinny shafts so far. The grippers seemed to shrink back down a day or so after taking my normal diameter shafts out of them and hold the Axis pretty well now.  :twocents:

I run the carbon express maxima red SD. Love them.  Quiver I have a tight spot so it's adjustable.

I shoot Easton Full Metal Jacket, 340s, and have had no issues with them. They are durable and hit hard. I've shot over half a dozen elk / deer with them and in almost all they are complete pass throughs.

I shoot the Axis N Fused 400's and they have been great for me. Very durable.

Eason full metal jacket 340s for me. Love them, I just started shooting them a few months ago and really like them. Switched over from black eagle carnivores. Only complaint with this is they were pretty light. About ten years ago inshot the axis 340 and loved those. I really like the smaller dia arrows less drift fly straight and hit hard. If you get the right spot quiver like mentioned above you can adjust the quiver to fit the arrows.

I used to shoot 2020 aluminums out of my recurve. Awesome skinny, heavy hunting shaft. I know most shoot carbon but great durable choice
The mountains are calling and I must go

You will want a new quiver, yes it might shrink and hold your arrows but not tight enough for going through brush.  I got sick of them sorta half stuck and got a new quiver.   I got a tight spot knock off (browning 1 piece??) my next one will be a tight spot unless something new and better comes out.

Arrows falling out of your quiver can kill you in the brush  :twocents:
