Idaho Residency Question
« on: October 01, 2017, 08:15:07 PM »
For those that may have been through it already, after you have established residency via permanent address/home, paid taxes, and transferred over DL and Vehicles, what do you have to show as far as Hunter Safety since you've never bought a license there?

Im assuming all you would need is the original hard copy of your hunters ed cert. I know this is all you have to have to buy an out of state liscense for the first time

  :yeah:

Looks like either a hunter's ed certificate or prior license from another state according to Idaho Fish & Game website:

Just bring in your Washington license and they can get the hunter safety number off of it.  Also, if you have a archery tag from Washington, you can use that to get the archery endorsement in Idaho.  Otherwise you have to take a class to get a archery tag here.

Thanks for the help. I do have an archery tag for Washington. Is there the same class requirement for Muzzleoader?  I am just starting down the rabbit hole for next season.
