Still moving here as of yesterday, had this new branched  buck show-up yesterday that I have not seen before.

That's a nice buck!

Saw a buck bedded down next to some feeding does after dark tonight.

I had to leave for work at 1am tuesday night. I saw a 2point following a doe right down the shoulder of hwy 2 in dowtown Sultan. The funny part was that they walked right by bubbas tavern, and there was 2 dudes standing outside the door smoking.   :chuckle:

This is not a normal year, that is for sure.  Patterns were different all throughout the summer and this fall.  Will that influence what is normal in future years?  Gee, I don't know.

Crappy day to take a stand and watch a cut in pouring rain, 39 degrees, and 10 mph winds.  Just about as bad as it gets.  I'd rather have snow.  To make matters worse, I didn't see a deer all day.  Heard four different shots between 1 and 3 PM.  None at first and last light.   :bash:

Stopped by a bar & grill for dinner on the way home.  The waitress said two guys came in for lunch.  Both had tagged out in the first 30 minutes this morning.  Probably locals with good pre-late season scouting (that's my excuse).
