Crazy big bull!!  Was this public land?  How much public land is there in the mission?  So much for flying under the radar!   :chuckle:

Lots of public land in that unit.

This I know that bull was shot by a very skilled hunter. Their was a ton of effort put in and years spent hunting and learning to do it the right way

Honestly, to hell with any of the naysayers. I know a thing or two about mission.

Including, I ran into two archery hunters during the early season who had no idea they were hunting in a closed unit. Seriously.

Congrats to the hunter. I heard a few pigs bugling this year, love thinking this was one of em.
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Jesus Christo, that thing is a complete beast! I love the fact that this wasn't a rich guy tag,  not that I have anything against those tags. That bull, really I'm speechless not sure what to say about it except holy crap !   I don't remember ever seeing a bull that has four points below the dagger like that, congrats to the hunter on a world class elk!

I don't see any naysayers on this thread?  Heck, even if this was shot in a yard on private property I'd still post it!! Fantastic bull!

Pretty special to see the development on that set of antlers, let alone harvest the animal. Great job!
