Youth Tag Update and Skookumchuck Info needed and Appreciated
« on: October 09, 2017, 06:11:18 PM »
Hey Guys and Gals.

My Son drew a "Any Buck" Rifle tag for the 667 Skookumchuck area. We went into the Vail tree farm on the opener. Only 9 rigs went in and 1 spike and 1 doe was harvested. We saw 16 does in there on Sat. No bucks. Yesterday we hiked into an area a couple miles in outside of Elbe. Didn't see anything.

We are going back in there on Thursday but if the weather is downpouring we may just cover some clearcuts.

I don't know the Skook 667 very well.

Does anyone know of some logging open drivable land to watch some clearcuts if the weather is horrible. Kid probably wont last long in the downpours! LOL

Any info on this is appreciated.

Kind Regards

Brian

No we were only aloud in for the one day on Saturday and then we had to be checked out by 6pm so the evening was kind of a waste.

So now I am looking for other accessible areas in the Skook. His tag is a Any buck tag.

Thanks
Brian
