Could someone buy the items I have in the classifieds so that I can afford to get a fall away rest and try the FOB's.
God Bless,
Scott

My field point bag is double sided, deer vitals on one side 16 2" dots on the other. I like for my wife to pic a spot and I try to hit it. It changes things up from trying to bust knocks.

I have the double sided bag also with the dots on one side.  I also like to shoot at my 3d deer target and that's the tough one to not go for a heart shot every time.

I wish a had a place for a 3D to shoot at. Have you thought about Angle shots? One shot each at differant angles (I'm sure you already do it), it will help with shot angle placement (a must for all bow hunters) and you don't run the risk of busting a FOB.

Good idea!  I can also get up in my kids fort and do a tree stand shot.  I always wanted a 3d deer and when we were @ Cabela's I went to the bargain cave and they had the Glendale Full Rut Buck in there for $80 off so I had to buy it.

What kind of setups are you guys using?

Like what bow, rest, and arrows.

Thanks,

There's no "perfect" setup for using FOB's.  The only hard and fast rule is that you must use a drop-away rest.  Some are easier to tune than others, but almost all of them are fine with FOB's.  The owner has written up his experience in tuning rests on fob-nation.com, and there are some valuable tips to be gleaned there.  Also, make sure to order the right size FOB's to match your arrows (i.e., order Axis size for Axis and MFX arrows).

To answer your question, though, I shoot an '04 Mathews Switchback, Trophy Ridge Drop Zone, and Easton Axis arrows.
