Looks like you bought a high class gsp.  lol

Supposed to have a much better demeanor than a GSP.

We'll see  :chuckle:

Good looking pup. I have wondered about this breed. I wouldn't wait until spring to introduce birds. The sooner you can introduce birds and water the better off you will be.

He introduced the pup to water this weekend. Did great. found a nice calm spot on the Columbia and it was hot out. Little hesitant but eventually was up to her chest. Next week they will spend a week on the river so should be all good by the end of that week.
We're pretty strong believers in letting puppy's be puppy's though. Lot's of manners and obedience training over the next 6 months. Around March we'll introduce the fun stuff.

Woah training
Does anyone know how to turn the video upright?

We have been gun breaking the last couple weeks.
She will be on a lead with my brother this weekend on an actual hunt.
Coming along really nice. Super cool personality and definitely showing the traits of a well bred bird dog. (prey drive and natural instinct to point  is very good).

Awesome! I wish I lived closer to a NAVHDA chapter. Something I always wanted to get involved in.
