Opening day pheasants?

Let's see how everyone did for the opener? We had good success! Group of 4 got 10 birds, all wild. 3 limits and one guy got 1. Post your pics!

Two of us got 1 rooster and some quail. We flushed 10-12 roosters and should've had 3-4 between us but shot poorly. The birds were pretty wary for the opener and many flushed too far out. The rain didn't help, we got soaked and had to quit a bit early. Even the pheasant wanted out of the rain,  at one point we flushed several out of a russian olive tree they were perched in to get out of the wet brush.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

Four hours beating some wonderful cover that I have seen several birds in during previous trips this year.  We push a hen out twice.  Flushed one rooster that used terrain masking to limit my two less than optimal shots to allow him a free escape.  I saw the area he landed, but by the time we got there later in the hunt, didn't find him.  Quite cold and wet. Passed on a nice covey of quail.

2 embarrassingly young roosters and one quail for a short and WET 2 man hunt opening day. Saw good numbers but the birds were surprisingly flighty for opening day.

3 of us ended up with 8 roosters & 3 quail. We hunted all day and walked ALOT of wet miles. It was my GSP pups first "big" hunt. He did awesome. That dog is a machine for being so young. Pretty sure he is still sleeping!
