Cabela's Space rain for just in case
First lite storm tight for when I know it's gonna suck.

Space rain packs the size of a baseball and they have been on sale pretty cheap.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Kuiu chugach.  Durable and light, best of both worlds. If it was little to no chance of rain or on a tight budget the teton raingear is super light. Never worn it but my buddy does and likes it. Carry a roll of tenacious tape in your pack in case you get a rip. That stuff patches up any kuiu clothing reall good.
