Legal rounds in a rifle while hunting in Washington State?
« on: October 26, 2017, 11:06:06 PM »
I was hunting deer with a Marlin 1894C 357mag lever gun. It holds 9rds in magazine and one in chamber makes 10rds total. Is there a cartridge restrictions in rifle like a restriction of 3 in a shotgun? Question I asked is one of my hunting partners said that it was illegal. He thought there was restricted to 5rds. I looked through hunting regulations and didn't find it.
Thanks Mark

Used to be a 5 rd limit I believe but that does not apply any more.

If there is no restrictions on capacity, I know several folks who need a belt feed rifle!
