Well, they got to be somewhere in there. Hoping it just means late buck will be good........

That place is dead! 2 full days, 153 miles w my dad and we finally saw 3 does today.  Also saw a bobcat, I also think the rut in Hancock is not on.

Jumped a good buck opening morning but he was just too fast and the cover was thick. Seen a spike and about 8-10 does, jumped a few more that was never able to see. Those were probably the monsters haha

Yes, you would be fine driving a car up there, at least on the main roads. Guy I know drove a car in there last year, had no issues, other than he got 2 flats.

I got in there late today 830ish.  Saw two bucks.  One little spike and a decent 3 pointer.  Gona hit it again tomorrow.

There is definitely starting to rut.  I had a doe come by me bleating.  Sadly, it was only a spike on her tail.  There was a second doe also bleating below me, and I set up on her, that's when a truck decided to drive down the narrow dead end road I was on.  Nothing else seen all day in there by me.  Did here a few shots in the AM hours.
