I use a NuCanoe.  Almost like a sit on top kayak.  Good option for dog, decoys and gear.  They are also made in Bellingham, so you can check them out.

I just picked up one of these, Frontier 12 with a duck blind. I hope it works as good as I hear.

You'll love it. My Frontier 10 is the best investment I've made in terms of direct effect on my success rate in the marsh.

Well got first blood on the yak this am. Spent 8 hours in it and was very comfortable.

Met a guy with a Bogpod today. Worked well for him.
Shoulders a little sore tonight. But had a great time in the yak.

I picked up a pod recently, but haven't used it yet.  Hope to in the next week or two.

Working on a motor mount for the H 12. Should be operational by the weekend.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Nice.  Why are all the fish in just the one Kayak?  I finally got my muskrat hut out fishing this weekend.  Caught 1 nice trout and 4 average ones.  I want to upgrade to a nucanoe Frontier eventually.  I am not sure if I want a 10 or 12'.  I am not a big guy so thinking 10 but may want to be able to take one of my kids with me on a second seat.

Well truth be known half of them belong on the other. My wife can out fish me any day. But she hates taking them off the hook. So it goes like this.
I launch her and by the time I launch and paddle over to her she has a fish.
So Icome along side take it off the hook for her.
She re bates , and by the time I get the first fish on a stringer move 20 ft away, she has another.
And I repeAt all over again.
If she breaks a leader or something she uses my pole while I fix hers.
So as a reward I get to carry the fish. :chuckle:

This is mine with the cover I sewed for it, see link

https://imageshack.com/a/img922/7681/D2pj0J.jpg

The cover reverses to white for snow conditions,  I carry a half dozen teal decoys behind the seat and just slide in along the bank.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska
