Do you guys change your rattling strategy if the weather is warm/rainy?

Sound might not carry as well when it's rainy. You could try louder if you're not having any luck.

Good call there. Didn't really think about that aspect.

Rattled in a couple today.  They were a little more sporadic today.

I hope to hear from 3nails.  He's in Western Montana now and I'm headed there early next week.  I hope he and his party have had some luck!

Dropped my son off at a location where he grunted in a 3 pt and couldn't resist pulling the trigger.  :chuckle:  Meanwhile I rattled in a bigger 5x5 and got some great video. I may shoot a smaller one later but he was too small for today.

Rattled this guy in today. First White tail for me. I didn't see him until he spooked at 20 yards. He ran about 200 and I had a small window to shoot him. Also my first time rattling, Very fun stuff. Idaho buck! Thanks for all the tips 3nails.

I think I've satisfied my rattling desires. The next buck is in grave danger regardless of size!  :chuckle:
