  That beaver is just out smarting me. It passed by 3 swim through traps and repaired 3 dams.  One smart beaver but at least I bagged 1 civet cat and a dang possum.

 :'(Pulled all my traps out today. 2 out of 3 beaver traps missed. One beaver swam over the trap and tripped the triggers. The other trap was hung up on the trigger wires and held the doors open. 2 out of 4 cat traps were set off by spotted skunks. The 3nd cat trap I forgot the safety  All the bait was gone.

  I think it's the year for spotted skunks. I need to make alot of skunk traps for next season. Almost every other day a skunk sets off a trap. Lots of them in my area.

What do you mean turds piles? Just trying to finish the trapping season close to home to save money since I am not working. Not going to do it for free during the off season.
