Looking for a hunting partner in Idaho
« on: November 02, 2017, 04:32:11 PM »
Next August, I will be moving into Boise to attend school at Boise State. My dad and I have been discussing how we will most likely not be able to hunt together until I graduate, as Boise starts around the end of August, and there are no modern firearm seasons open at that time, in Idaho or Washington. So I'm looking for someone who maybe has been looking for a hunting partner around that goes around the Boise area, or a camp that wouldn't possibly mind one extra, or if nothing else, some advice on the area. Thanks all!

Too bad you aren't further north, or I could help get your feet on the ground!  I hope you find someone down there!  You can always ask around the university, local shooting ranges, sporting goods stores, etc.  Seems one can usually find a good person to help a college student out on the hunting and fishing.  Cheers, EB

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it! I hadn't even thought of asking around at local shooting ranges!

I'll be hunting in Northern Idaho next year, but looking for someone or a group of people to go on a wilderness hunt with starting in 2019.

I'll be in Moscow for the next 3 years.  Too bad you'll be in Boise
