Hey All,
Anyone heading up this weekend/week for late whitetail? I will be next weekend for 17th-19th and getting a hotel in Colville. MIGHT score some private land on Aladdin Road but not counting on it... after looking at 2016 harvest report stats by GMU and noticing most are in the high 30's for success rate on an Any Buck restriction, what public land would you recommend to explore for a 3 day hunt? Huckleberry Mtns.? Colville Forest? Pend Oreille Wildlife Area? I have onXhunt app so finding public/private borders aren't a problem.
This will be my first whitetail hunt and wife's first buck in general.. It would be nice to at least get her tag filled on a whitetail with horns
. I personally will be more picky until last day if need be.
