Wyoming and it’s mud!
« on: November 09, 2017, 05:15:05 PM »
We had a crew of 7 this year. The weather was great for hunting and meat care, however one day of rain, the roads went to snot. The mud would build up on your boots till it was so heavy it would fall off, like 5 pounds worth on each foot!
Regardless we had a great trip, we ended up with 20 animals tagged, 3 Muley bucks, one antelope buck and lots of does! We saw 20 bucks the day before season opened all on BLM land.
We spoke with a biologist, BLM enforcement officer, and 2 game wardens, all were nice, helpful, and good people. The warden gave us a land owners name and location that needed help bad with a deer problem, we ran down that afternoon, met the owner, told him the warden sent us and he let us drive his wheat field and harvest a fat doe for no charge.
He told us to go shoot one off the road if we wanted, we refrained and told him we like doing it the right way! He invited us back next year.
All in all, lots of shooting, lots of work, and great time with friends!

Ya that!

Awesome pics!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.
Psalm 144.1
