Interesting to see the comments :bash:

Definitely some "wolf justice warriors" following the magazine's publication of anything wolf related.

Oh, so sad. Yeah, don't read the comments. I can't wait until delisting, if that ever happens. That's when these people will start screaming at the sky again.

Reading the comments just shows how uninformed and stupid people are today.  Everyone thinks they're an expert on anything and everything.   :bash:

Why, to see the screaming or to be able to hunt?

Both work for me.

Conversation for a different thread but you do realize that to do that would require our wolf numbers to increase........not a good idea. :twocents:

Well, they're going to increase whether we like it or not. That was always the plan. Delisting won't happen until the distribution of breeding pairs meets the outrageous wolf plan guidelines. But once delisting happens and we can start killing these eaters, they'll start to fear man again and that'll be a good thing. As of now, they have zero reason to fear us and have never known man to hunt them. I believe that depredation of livestock in MT and ID has gone down due to hunting and negative animal/human interaction, although ungulate populations continue to suffer.

I don't believe they will at this rate. With continued livestock issues, the state will continue to take out problem packs which has seemed to stow/slow their increase in numbers. There has also been the occasional vigilanti and self defense shooting that has kept the numbers at this level.

Reproduction rate will soon surpass the vigilantism and the WDFW efforts.  Delisting inevetible! Can't wait.
