Off to Idaho...
« on: November 13, 2017, 08:44:57 PM »
My 11 year old son and I are leaving at 3 tomorrow morning headed for Idaho, he is so excited to go on his first Idaho deer hunt that he went to bed mid football game so the morning would come sooner! Got word today that a decent buck was shot from our party that is already there and more and more activity every day. We can be gone til after thanksgiving so have plenty of time to get it done! I  will try and update as service allows, off to the sack I go.

Hope you got your tag already  (I'm sure you did)  I was planning on heading down Thursday.  Checked last Monday and they had 398 tags left.  Checked again on Thursday and they were all sold out.  First time in many years that they sold out.  I always picked up my license and tag on the way down but not this year.  Good luck you you guys.

Have fun and kill a monster! Those big boys ought to be showing themselves during the day.

Have a great time!  Hopefully the deer are plentiful in your area. It's always fun to have the kids talking about all the deer they have seen each day.My kids and I leave Wednesday morning for idaho also.
