I have a buddy that had it on his lab. It was his only family for a lot of years so he figured what the heck. It is like any insurance, carefully read what is covered, know your breed and make sure you know what they are "prone" to and make the call. As it turned out my buddy's dog had a few problems with his legs (very large lab) and it helped out. I do not know what he paid for the coverage but I think he felt better knowing he had it. The dog lived the be 15.

I think it is probably a good idea, i know I spent more in vet bills than I had planned on.

I had a friend that used it. Cost them $17 a month and when the dog got hit by a car it was well worth it.
